Wheel Spacers Available?

With the stock 612M wheels, can you use the H&R 15/20 spacer set?

If not, what specifically should someone buy?

The hub on the F85/86 is deeper than other BMWs. This means you'll need 20mm to clear the lip of the hub.

Has anyone fitted sub 20mm on the front and not had issues?

Also, has anyone fitted 20mm on the front and can share pictures?

This is with stock 612M wheels.

20mm would be too much for the front.
I do suggest 5mm front and 15mm rear.
I have done F15 with F85 21" wheels with that spacer setup. The customer love it very much.

I thought you tested and 15mm isn't enough to clear the hub?

I'm running 5/12.5. In a perfect world I think I'd like 10 front, 15 rear, but overall I'm happy

15mm would not clear the hub shoulder height. So either 5, which doesn't have the hub extension or anything thicker than 15mm.
10mm would also fit, but that doesn't leave you enough hub shoulder where the wheel is actually sit on.
With the power and weight the car, I wouldn't trust 5mm to rest the weight on.
Thanks to BMW to change the hub assembly on mid 2014.
The earlier production of F15 allows you to run 15mm on the front.

No, I still don't think i've got a straight answer lol

Reading a number of different posts, it sounds like you can only do exactly 5 on the front and anywhere from 12.5-20 on the rear.

From what i've gathered for the front you need at least a 18mm spacer to clear the hub lip on the car. The rear you can run whatever size you want depending on your wheel setup.

Let me correct that if you don't mind.
The rear you can run 5mm, 15mm and up. Because the hub height is a little less than 15mm, so if you run 10mm, you will have a problem where the wheel doesn't sit properly on the hub.
Here what I will do. I will order 10mm and test it and see how much hub left where the wheel can sit properly.
Please note that the car is quite heavy where I won't feel safe with the wheel just sitting 2-3mm on the hub.

Has it been confirmed that 15mm works up front? I am pretty sure people tried 15 and its still not enough to clear.

And yes 5mm does work up front as well since the spacer doesn't have its own hub lip. I ran this on my X5 but took it off because it caused vibrations at higher speeds and 5mm is barely even noticeable.

15mm only work on the early production F15 X5 front hub. I believe 07/14 is the cut off.

Did the 10mm spacer work on the front or were you only left with 2-3mms as you suspected?

But then, there is a bevel on the backing of the wheel. That usually about 2mm.
So that will leave you about 3mm hub height surface. Do you feel safe? I wouldn't.

I hate to bring this post from the dead, but what can we use as spacers on front and rear on the stock 612 21" on a 2017 X5M? Or are we left on having to purchase aftermarket wheels then? Does anyone have an answer to this, without going all loopy, just straight answer, front = --mm and rear = --mm
