Mineral White vs Donington Grey

Have to make decision on order today, have always had white BMW's and I think Donington is a beautiful color on this car but so is Mineral white, have always had AW, opinions?

Mineral white. Everyone has donington, almost everyone you see is.

That's because it's the best color!

I have MW now - its great - super low maintenance (no swirls whatsoever) and looks really nice compared to AW.

I just ordered a DG X5M - which from what I can tell as about the same in terms of maintenance and "durability".

I think they are both great.

I had a Donington x5m and it is nice color but i think mineral white looks just as good on that truck and not every x5m and x6m you see is that color lol. They are both good colors but if you want something a little more rare go with mineral.

Both are very nice, but MW with the red interior is what I have, and I think it's great. I always had silver BMW's with black interior so I decided to switch it up a bit and I have no regrets. Whatever color you choose make sure to get it X-PELLED. I know my car looks great because my brother, the Mercedes man, would never admit such a thing, but he slipped when he saw my ///M. LOL

Mineral White with Mugello Red was my first choice initially and still is one of my favorites. I had a M6 with Brilliant White Metallic and Sakhir interior and it was stunning. My current X5M LBB with Aragon is beautiful but I am driving around my family's MW (Mocha Design Interior) X5 M Sport 50i to keep the miles low on my SUV. Sister just received her X6M MW with Aragon and it is stunning. It looks fantastic in bright sun and sparkles all day. I am also tired of seeing Donington which is seriously getting old. There are a few of those with black interiors and they are awful. The red is ok. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for all of your guys' opinions I appreciate them! I ended up going with Donington since it is subtle yet sporty with Aragon Brown interior. I plan on doing quite a few modifications so hopefully it will stand out from the crowd!

LBB, looks more like an M. Or the Red. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't pick a boring neutral color.

If you go DG, Mugello Red interior looks great with it. Exotic touch.

DG

I have the Doninton Gray with the Extended Silverstone leather. I'm just like you and came from all Alpine White X5's so this was a first, but the Mineral White is an awesome color to see in person as well.

I guess it depends on where you live, but I'm in the Chicago area and I don't think I've seen another X5M on the road once yet and I know there out there, but they are very few and far between.

A few mornings on the drive into the Office, I've seen this X5 M-Sport in all Silver with the 20" wheel package and lightly tinted windows and I'll tell ya, that is a combination that sticks out and has gotten my attention on a few occasions.

Please post some pics when your get your new X5M.

I'm in Chicagoland with DG. I know one other guy with a DG as well. DG is a great sleeper color. I've seen a MW x5m and with the right wheels, that is sharp color for the x. OP, congrats on the DG x5m! Def post some pics!

I love both, I will say we have MW in the wife's X5 (non M) and it looks great, and is the one of the easiest colors I have ever owned to maintain.

Doninton Gray and Mineral White are awesome, but what do you think about the Carbon Black?

I love black cars, but for the X5M I feel like it just hides the lines too much. The lines on the X5M are too subtle for this color, IMHO. I tried a sapphire black '16 before I ordered my '17 DG, and I thought it looked pretty bland.

grey is a very boring color to me.

as others have said you need to go bold!

I have MW on my m3 and I would definitely get that color again as well.
