Bluetooth again!

How's everyone's iPhone 7 /plus connect to the idrive ? It has been a issue on the iPhone 7 and plus, I was hoping they fixed it with the 10.0.3, but still no go, looks like 10.1 is the best bet for now

BMW has acknowledged that the iphone 7 isn't "supported" yet. They are supposed to be working on an update to ConnectedDrive to resolve this.

Thanks for the info. The iPhone issue has been painful. Every day or two I have to pair my phone again. Problem occurs with Bluetooth as well as CarPlay. I hope they fix this soon.

I picked up an Iphone 7 yesterday only because my 6 was having issues and noticed the same problem. USB plays fine if your Bluetooth is disabled. Today however I tried it again via BT and it did what we expected after a few seconds it disconnected. I noticed on my Spotify app that the car was no longer an option to output to. I went into the BT settings on the phone and performed a disconnect, waited a few seconds and connected it again. That seemed to work, had no issues after. Will try it again later to see if it is a repeatable workaround.

the previous work around did not work... but I upgraded to IOS 10.1 beta and it fixed it. No issues all day today. Will try again tomorrow!

Just got my iPhone 7, sure enough the music only played for 15 mins through BT, then lost the sound. Gonna see if I can at least play it through lightning cable :/

I have 10.1 on my iphone 7 and have not had any issues with any of tge Bluetooth features. I have the "hey siri" option disabled.

I installed 10.1.1 last night and that seems to have solved my issues.

The updated specifically stating fixing the blue tooth problem so I guess it better work.
