Awesome. That should be very nice. Yes I would definitely keep it. If you sell or trade you won't get much for those parts so you may want to try to sell them individually. If your vehicle is bought back by BMW for any reason they require you to return it to stock for the turn in. At a minimum, I think the exhaust would sell on eBay or even here because of the m-sport tips.

I have seen pictures of an X5 m50d with black/blackout tips ? does anyone know how to get them or the part number ?

Its part of the full exhaust on the M50D. You can't just change the tips on your X5. Easiest and cheapest way is to just paint your stock tips. Several members including myself have done this with great success.
