BMW X5 xDrive25d acceleration and sound. Quite fast for a 4 cylinder...
I had the chance to drive the all-new X5 with the 4-cylinder 2-litre turbo diesel engine. It's quite fast with its 0 to 100 km/h or 0-62 mph in just 8.2 seconds...
This is a short video I made for my blog. Last edited by adimfx; 09-20-2014 at 08:19 AM.. |

Thanks,
Just a short question...how do you get the "Sport+" mode on the 25d - will it show up when the gear-lever is pulled over to the side/sport setting? All best Bent |

Did you opt for the sport transmission? Sport+ is activated just by pressing the sport button twice, no need to switch the gearstick into the M/S mode.

Yes, but BXdriver asked how to activate sport+ mode in 25d, not launch control. So I answered.

I love everything about the 25d. I wish it was available in the US. Sure it is fun to accelerate with a bigger engine, but there are plenty of buyers who would choose the smaller, more efficient engine, which is still providing driving satisfaction as your experience clearly exemplifies.

My mind was somewhere else when I asked that question. Saturdays... Of course - I do not have the sport-trans and therefore no "+" option. Cheers, Bent |

The Sport+ issue is already clear to you all, as I can see If you have any other questions about this X5, please ask. P.S. Here is the video for the BMW X5 xDrive30d, too. |
