295 + 335 for 22" rims issues?

I've noticed the size of tires most are running are the 295/30/22 and 335/25/22 tire sizes. I frequently see on forums that due to xDrive, tire circumference shouldn't exceed a 1% variance front to back. I don't think there has been any definitive word from BMW on the max variance.

With that said, the tire sizes mentioned above have a 1.4% variance front to back. I'm curious if anyone has had any drivetrain/xDrive issues running these sizes? How many miles have folks driven on this setup without issues?

I'll be running similar sizes soon and before I do, I'm curious if anyone has any first hand experience of issues.

TIA

My SA might be being dramatic, but he even doesn't like seeing a mix of partially worn and new tires on xDrive vehicles.

yah, what's interesting is that the OEM 21" tire sizes (285/35/21 and 325/30/21) have a .6% variance front to back...

this the correct and very limited sizing we have to deal with it. not many manufactures that make this size and obtaining tires if tough

i have not notice and issues. been running this size for over 15K

Thanks for the feedback! Helpful to hear someone with a good amount of miles running these sizes hasn't run in to any issues.
