This is their ebay store: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Verde-Empir....c100011.m1850

It's a usual average quality wheel. It will fit. Weighs 36.1lbs - which is not bad for a 20'' rim. Check their warranty and go for it if you like design and color

P.S. 42mm offset is 5mm closer to brake calipers compared to stock 37mm offset - but it will fit without issues - there's more clearance than 5mm

Just one more thing to keep in mind, tho I'm sure it's going to be fine: rims with tiny thin spokes like in that Verde Empire - they look good, but we have 5300lbs vehicle and depending on your local roads may break, since they are usually not really rated for such heavy cars. It's rare, but it happens, so make sure they have 50i in their supported vehicle lineup and that they have structural warranty

So...

Since the offset is 5mm off should I correct that with a spacer?

Aren't there any OEM wheels you like? To each their own, but the above wheels don't look that great.

No sir on the oem...prefer this style of wheel that BMW does not offer.

I think they will look great on my space gray 50i You and I will have to differ on their aesthetic value.

Check out VMR or Avant Garde. Similar in design and a lot of bmw drivers running them. I think Avant Garde are low gravity cast so should he stronger than your standard cast wheels.

You can, but it's not necessary, it all depends on what tires are you planning to run and if you have fender flares or not? Basically you need to check your tires won't be sticking out too much

Many of us here run 5mm/15mm (front/rear) spacers from rg33 just to make it look flash (or more aggressive than stock recessed look), but we are staggered and have fender flares

IMHO - I would not rush buying something until you are 100% sure you want that look - easy to buy, but very hard to sell if you quickly realize you didn't like the looks. I would start by checking photos of a setup you like mounted on the x5 and then adjust a bit with spacers if you want a bit more aggressive look

20 inch rim is a nice choice - cheaper tires and wheels weigh less (not sure if it's important for you - dynamics). However, if I was to redo it - I would go for 21 or 22 with lightweight forged rims - expensive, but you do it once and do it right imho

I had VMR 710 on my m3 for winter wheels, my friend is now running them on 335 for winter rims. The are good quality and have held up for many years now Of winter driving.

They are a good choice.

Check out Mod Bargains. They carry vmr and avant garde I believe. I almost ordered a set of avant garde from them but ended up getting a deal on a set of Vossens.

Love these! Can you post any more pics, like a side shot and one from the back of them... curious to see how much the spokes stick out. Thank you!
