Received my Winter tires for my F85 X5M today. I don't have my X5M yet, but I'll be ready for next Winter.
For those who are interested, the part numbers are 36-11-2-365-424 (front) and 36-11-2-365-425 (rear). Wheels are Style 611M (20") and tires are Pirelli Scorpion Winter 285/40R20Y. MSRP is $1098.52 ea (front) and $1116.71 ea (rear). These are direct from BMW and are for F85 X5M and F86 X6M.

I was told BMW NA only has 8 sets available, 7 now that I have mine. All four tires are the same size, non-staggered. I think you folks in Canada are lucky enough to get the staggered setup.

I'm not sure. These are offered specifically for the F85 X5M and F86 X6M. You might want to check with your BMW parts department.

Did you ever get any answers on this question? Id love to know the compatibility of wheels from the E chassis to the F chassis.

It seems to be a relatively frequently asked question, but no one who when from an E chassis to an F chassis has seemed to chime in with a result. When I get my next car, I will definitely update everyone about the wheel compatibility if it works out or not. I really do hope they fit so I wouldn't have to buy another set of wheels if my old X6 wheels actually fit on my future X6M.

Has anyone gotten aftermarket 20's or 19's they can confirm fit? I went through major pain trying to get some custom winters for my F10 (ultimately failing to do so) and Im hoping for something smoother this time around.
As far as I know the OEM winter rims are cast alloys and not forged, can anyone confirm this? |

Actually, at the last M Power Experience tour in Las Vegas, I had a chance to ask Walter Haupt if the 19" 298 wheels would fit and he said no because of the new 6 piston calipers on MY2015. That's why BMW went with 20" winter wheels.
I didn't ask about ET. Bore size should be the same |

Hi. I know it's not possible to use the 19 inch 298m rims on the new X6M. My question is is it possible to use the 20 inch original rims (I believe 299m)from my 2013 X5M on the new X6M? If so can I install 285 winter tires in all 4 rims? Currently the back tires are 315 and from is 275. Not sure if 285 would mount on the back rims? Please let me know if this is possible?

same here; I thought there was a chance that the winter rims were in black as well but the same style

I checked with my dealer today and these are sold out. They may be releasing another batch in October. Sounds pretty close to snow time.
Anyone have any other ideas for winter wheel setups? |

Yokohama wdrive v905 , on Yokohama website seems to have the right size to fit the 21" X5M wheels. Could that be an option? Anyone that have experience on those tyres ? Are they as good as the Pirelli's?
