Frequency Intelligent FI Exhaust F85 X5M / F86 X6M Unboxed Pictures

Hey guys. We just received an FI Exhaust for Powerbeast and I snapped some quick pictures for you guys. We are waiting on the downpipes to arrive and will proceed with the install. Will have more pics and videos once it is complete.

If you get a chance, can you measure the diameter of the tips. I have seen several bad pics of the system on cars and the tips seem small and too angled too downwards. Wasn't impressed and really been waiting for the system

We installed the system minus the downpipes yesterday and finished late at night. Will upload a video of it now.

Here it is. Can't figure out why the video quality is so poor. Will get it figured out soon.

Did you had the chance to drive it? Does it drone? The valves are controlled only be their remote and not from the car button like stock?

Look and Sound great. Interested to see if there's any drone with this setup.

I drove it back to the customer. Was around 35 miles of highway with a little city driving. No drone I could notice. Very subtle exhaust when cruising but aggressive when pushing it.

None that I could tell. We will be installing the DPs this week as well.

Is there a big difference between "quiet" and "race" modes on exhaust? I mean at cruising speed with valves off, is a lot louder than stock exhaust?

Thanks

I have a question: on FI's website the exhaust for F86 X6M has only a central rear box, and the one in your pics is identical with the one for E71 X6M.
Why is this difference?

Many thanks

Very good catch! XX66MM
I like the single muffler more than 2 mufflers.
I have the FI Catless DP with stock exhaust and I like it so far. I am looking at getting the full FI exhaust but I would like more information. Even though the FI downpipe looks like good quality, (welds and material), the FI Exhaust Webpage is awful. No data. No performance data. They could easily post weight savings.

If anyone is making an exhaust modification, can you post weight of stock vs modified parts.
