IND| F85/F86 RKP Carbon Front Lip DIY
The RKP front lip is by far one of the easiest installs I've ever done Tools required: 8mm Socket Painters tape (optional) You can jack the front of the car up or put it on ramps for easier access, but it is not needed. Step 1: Remove the eight 8mm bolts on the bottom side of the bumper. Step 2: At this point it is a good time to test fit the lip. This is standard procedure for all exterior parts that come to our facility. Step 3: Now that the fitment is confirmed, prepare the front bumper by making sure the bumper is clean and then prep the surface with the provided adhesion promoter. Step 4: Prepare the lip by creating pull points on the double-sided tape. We use painters tape to create these pulls, but any sticky tape will work. Step 5: Install the front lip, use the mounting holes as a guide for position. Bolt in the eight 8mm bolts. Step 6: Now remove the backing to the double-sided tape with the pull tabs you made and press the lip firmly up against the bumper. Step 7: Step back and admire your hard work
