Lol, this is completely upto the individual's preference. I have seen a lot here de-badge (which I like) and paint the reflectors, personally I like the reflectors the way they are as they are very subtle anyway and so I'm keeping it that way.

The stripe I have right now is dark red, I have another new roll of (not so dark) red stripe, looks just a tad bit yellowish. I'm thinking of replacing with this new roll. I originally added the red stripe and noticed that it matches with the brake lights and now also the red painted brake calipers. This pic shows all of them in one view.

And ofcourse the view from back is all red (reflectors, brake lights and 3rd brake light), including a red touch on the M license plate

Somehow I didn't notice this comment earlier but that is correct, California does require license plates front and back and here is a direct excerpt

"Vehicles registered in California must display valid license plates as evidence of current registration. Passenger vehicles display two license plates -- one plate on the front of the car and one plate on the back of the car."

in california window tint is illegal, most tunes and exhausts are illegal, lowering the vehicle is illegal etc. so basically most suggestions on here are going to be illegal one way or another. by far one of the most bizarre states in the union.

Wife's New 2015 F15 M Sport

Traded my wife's 2013 X5 35i premium for a 2015 X5 35i M Sport. It looks like it came with the MPPK as well.

Most of these are correct, except that window tint is fine as long as it matches to the rear window factory tint, lowering the vehicle by 1" or so is fine, no cops will notice or tell the difference , trust me on this. Most M vehicles come with a very low suspension anyway, and there are quite a few of them here. If you have a missing front plate (that can be noticed right away), you certainly are bound to get a ticket. Heck I even got a ticket when my rear license plate sticker expired and it was just 2 days after the expiry, fortunately I already had the updated stickers, so paid a fraction of the ticket after getting it verified by CHP.
