Question CF Diffuser on Space Gray

Anybody have pics of the CF diffuser and front lip on a Space Gray? The more I'm looking at it... the more I'm liking it... but I'm not sure if its just that I love the contrast it provides on MW. Would it be a non-factor with SG?

The front lip looks great, but I dont' want to drive around worrying about scratching the hell out of a $1500 piece of CF. But, I'm more interested in the rear diffuser... not a big fan of the fins. They look weird and are $$$.

Thanks for the input...

Kzang ... I know you have SG and were teased by the CF. Have you pulled the trigger?

Not yet.. I think I will soon though.. I plan to get the front lip and rear diffuser.
I think the carbon fiber will look excellent with the space gray.. Post some pics when you get yours

Nothing about the performance aero looks weird imo. I think it actaully finishes off a msport perfectly. Still very noticeable on grey as well

I was just wondering if there is enough of a contrast (on SG) to justify the price tag.

It will look amazing on Space Gray. Just enough contrast without being too much which I was worried with on a white car. It looks good enough that bmw used SG on their m performance videos for the F15.

Thanks... didn't even think to check out the official vids. If I go this route, I'll probably wait until the spring as I need some winter tires, want the wheels powdercoated, and getting the exhaust installed tomorrow. At this rate... I should have just gotten an M.

Do you have a link to the video, Alan? I'm only finding videos with MW.

Thanks Kzang. You seriously must have every video stored away somewhere... you come up with them so quickly.

And that M6...

Thanks for the help, guys.

I think carbon fiber add on parts look better on dark cars. It seems like a more seamless transition.
Consider the front lip though. I think the car will look awkward with just the rear diffuser.
Look at that menacing face the X5 has in those pictures!

I'm on the same boat when i get my SG.
i'll be getting the rear diffuser w/o the fins but the front, i might go for M performance or wait for a aftermarket lip.

Regarding scratches, highly doubt that'll happen on a SUV.
Also for the extra protection, do what i did to all my lips, clear bra it

No, I didn't know it existed when I placed my order or I would have included it
I have the RC chip tune for now and plan to get the MPPK and stack the RC chip on top of it

Does this actually work?
I'd check with the RC chip manufacturer just to make sure.
If they're boosting a % from what the car is currently producing, it would make sense but if it's a set % assuming the car's stock, i don't think it'll do much.

I'd rather redo the piping and get a race chip if there's not much actual difference on the dyno with the stacking option.

Forum Member Alan has this on his F15.. So far it appears that there hasn't been any issues and he "feels" the additional power.
