Best tune/mods to get 100 HP gain?

I got my F85 X5m with 12K km on it a few years ago. brand new basically, but now I was wanting to get as much power out of it as possible. it's got about 35K km on it now. but, I think the velos tune was $1700 just for the handheld. seems excessive. What have u guys used that got the best results recently?

Thanks.

What about just going to a shop? I saw one locally, about $150/hr for dyno tuning. is that all I need, or do I need to buy a tuner first, or something along those lines? How will they know what tune works best for my x5m, and will they be able to increase the HP as much as a handheld or better?

BM3 stage 1 tune, intake, xHP trans tune.

All of that should be close to $1500 and should get you 75HP at least.

Ok cool, thanks. intake as in air intake or fuel intake? and a transmission tune? didn't think of that. if I take it to a shop, will they possibly mess it up? I was going to get a k &n air filter as well.

Air intake. Dinan and RK are the best.

You can code it yourself. BM3 and xHP are both incredibly easy to use.
