Used a dremel today and found a pocket that the fiberglass left due to curve of front. Filled with a flexible filler and "gapped" open the whole install to allow for more contact area with a flexible filler. Crack appears to now be gone and I can put pressure on front. Ordered some 7061 flexible filler, so going to put a hold on finishing until that arrives.
Here's a pic of driver side carbon fiber vent finished and sitting in place.

You could fit some super wide tires under there.

When my 335's showed up to the house I was like "no way in hell those fat daddies are fitting on my X5". They fit though, and now I can never go back

To bad Brian has x-drive otherwise he could go even wider!

Garage List
With the widebody and rwd I would think you can easily go 12.5-13" wide. Or keep it 12" with a nice low offset. Nice man!

Oh well, that's nice cause you don't have to mess with the finicky transfer case. It's gives probs if the overall diameter of the wheel/tire isn't within 1% spec of stock sizes. To be honest, I've never researched anything wider than a 335, but I'm sure it's out there. Do you already have the wheels?

If not, I like sukh527's suggest of a wider rear wheel. Again, I've never researched it though, but I know you and you'll do your homework

That is a fact lol ! 345 tires would be nice on a 13" wide. Lamborghini runs that in rear.
