Good job BMW financial Canada !!!
Yesterday morning i recieved phone call from 1-800 number , hello its collection agency . You owe 1200$ for overmileage to BMW Canada , if you pay in full right now we will give you discount 25% , ok , i paid right away .
Story short i return 2014 X5 and got new X5 on july 2017 , with price tag was 25K over previous X5 . Fully loaded . In September i got phone call from BMW Canada with complain that i'am over couple thousands km on lease return . I talk politely with lady asked if i have any options like wright off that nonsense , cause i bought from you guys new X5 and planing to get another truck new X7 next year , or split the payments if they can't do , she said ok we will call you back with options .......... 4 months later collector called me p.s. MB spoiled me , two of my mercedes (c350 and ml350 ) were with overmileage after lease and all this charges were written off , cause i was a loyal customer of MB . Now i am thinking should i stay with XXX or comeback to XX ???? p.p.s. I just curious if instead lease agreement mileage you will return with lowest numbers did they pay you back something ??? What is your opinion guys ???? |

Not cool. But...Mercedes is no angel either! Several years ago I turned in my SL550, lease was up. It was a 4 year/48,000 mile lease. My car had 17,000 miles on it :-O
Not only did MBZ Financial not give me any credit for being so under my alloted mileage, they tried to bill me for a 2 inch scuff on ONE wheel. |

Don't take it personally and decide by what is better for you overall financially and what car you like more. After all if you like a car - it's more important than anything else imho. I personally wouldn't decide purely on likability of BMW FS Canada or MB Canada or any other brand. They are all crooks, just making profit and it doesn't matter if you are loyal customer or not imho. So many loyal customers got screwed over by every brand

I was furious!!! By this time, we had probably leased 10-12 Mercedes too, and at the time had two other MBZs leased with MB Financial.
I "negotiated" and from them demanding I pay $1000 for an AMG rim, I got them down to about $200 for the dealership to repair the minor scuff. I was so pissed, and I told them...I did not own another Mercedes for over 5 years! |

BMW did credit the unused mileages back to your next new lease account.
