windows and seats not working 2015 X6

Hi all, My windows and seats stopped working after having the battery disconnected for a day. I'm new to the F series platform and need a little help.

Is this problem caused by the same issue with the E series (FRM Module)?

If so:
Is it located in the exact location as the e90?
Is the process the same to repair it as in the E series?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Its most likely the BDC in the F15, no FRM like the E90. Also, if the windows stopped working in the E90, it would have been the JBBF (front junction box electronics).

Ditto…the f15/f16 don't have an FRM. A lot of the functions of the FRM are incorporated into the new BDC module (body domain control). I think the front seats also have a secondary control module (SMFA)located below the front seats…which communicate with the BDC. See A245 (SMFA) & A258 (BDC) in illustrations below:

And the windows, sunroof, and clock usually require a reinitialization if power is removed (battery disconnected). So do an initialization to see if your one-touch window operation returns…and check your sunroof…it probably is not working correctly either. The instructions for reinitialization is in the owners manual…and also in the embedded owners manual in iDrive.

I think you can do a keyword search in the iDrive owners manual under GLASS to find the instructions for reinitializing the sunroof.
