F15 40d swirl flaps

Hi all, recently removed my swirl flaps in my f15 40d

and iv notice a loss in low end power

What are people doing to compensate this?

Would a EGR delete and a remap solve this?

I had a swirl flap Error code car was going into Limp mode

When taking off the manifold and inspecting the flaps they was badly worn

Mechanic suggested removing them completely as a precaution, if they Fail they get swallowed by the engine causing major engine damage
