Yes sir, i just found out that f25 also same issue (same tcase and yoke), so i will be offering these for the x3 crowd as well.

All good, excellent product. Install is stright forward. Flex head ratcheting wrench was very helpful for removing the line brackets and shield below the shaft, which is necessary to remove the shaft.

I'm looking to buy an F15 in UK.

Is it possible to inspect the state of the drive shaft by getting the car on a ramp? Look for rust and check for play? Or is it only obvious when you take it off?

Ultimately I'd be looking to get the upgraded version discussed in this thread, but the problem is that I need to take the car on a Christmas trip across Europe, so there's no time to do that before then.

Hi, yes to get an idea of the scale of the issue you can have the car on the ramps and check for up /down play at the transfer case. Also pay attention to the ujoint closes to the transfer case, if it appears rusty id be very careful

Hello guys! I own a BMW f15 X5 40d right hand drive. The car was making hopping during driving without specific time & speed. Mechanic said is coming from driveshaft. I changed the driveshaft to a new one bought from Germany but the issue was there. Then I found out the issue relies on splines. I ordered one driveshaft from Tony with long splines and more durable construction. Installation was easy. A bit close to gearbox but is ok! 3 weeks now from the installation day and car seems that drives on carpet! To mention I have 325/30r21 & 285/35r21 wheels. Many expects** blame the wheels size but the answer is the driveshaft.
A big thank you to Tony for permanently solve the factory issues with driveshaft!! Extremely good work and accuracy!

Just had my upgraded driveshaft installed and could'nt be happier!

The difference is incredible compared to the stock driveshaft—it's much sturdier. While chatting with a team member at my shop, they shared that they've had to replace several stock driveshafts in the past, either because they failed later on or required a much more expensive replacement. Really impressed with this product and couldn't be more satisfied! Huge thanks to Tony!

helo ,i have2015 bmw x5d 82000ml ,found when driving is a noise like grinding coming from frond end upon inspection of vehicle found front ds to have excessive play inside the transfer case .Just have my front DS received with longer splines section and installed without any issues,looks good for me . a big thank you to Tony for permanently solve the factory issues with driveshaft!! Extremely good work and accuracy!
