Do X5 mats fit X6? Are carpet mats included?
As I wait for my wife’s X6 production process, I am finding few if any X6 specific accessories available.
I believe many X5 parts will work but want to be sure. For example, it appears at one time carpet mats were included from the factory. Is this still the case? It might be an option on some build your own configuration you would have to check. I don't remember. A cargo net seems to also be a factory provided accessory. Any thing else? I still plan of purchasing all weather mats and it appears X5 mats work but want to be sure they have a custom fit. Thanks “Free” Cargo Net http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1107426 Does the X5 come with carpet mats? http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1078716 Cargo Liner – Which one is best (and other accessories) http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1196022 Jack Blocks http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1174564 All Weather Liners for F16 X6? http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1171070 Edit: Track your build has a standard features list on MyBMW that indicates floor mats are included. Bump - was wondering the same about some other X5 mats. Anyone know if these would work on a 2016 X6?

I don't think the X5 mats will fit the X6...
But I didn't get a cargo net (since I have third row seats), but my car did come with two sets of carpet mats (one regular set, and one rubber set). |

I saw this one in person - fits F16 perfectly and much better than F15. Very cheap and practical. I'd buy two immediately. I know it might not be available on amazon.com but maybe you can find it on ebay:

I can't confirm, but I would think everything except the cargo liner would be used by both the X5 and X6 since the interior space is identical.

Interesting.. I didn't know the cargo space is the same in the X6. Thanks for the correction.

My wife just drove her 2016 X6 home for the first time after getting a CQuartz Finest paint coating and I tried the BMW X5 floor liner (Black/Front 82 11 2 285 514) and they seem to fit perfectly. The driver side will need to form to the floor as a few spots are not resting flat on the floorboards yet but I assume in short time they well. The passenger side fit snug the first try.
The car did come with carpet mats by the way. I also have the X6 WeatherTech All-Weather Floor mat protection package. I think the part number is the same for the X5 set. I put in the 2nd row mats for now and will let my wife choose her preference between the liners and the all-weather mats for the front. BMW uses Velcro and WeatherTech mats use pegs. Can you modify one or the other so the same stays hold either type? |

The Weathertech ones I ordered came with pegs/hooks that you can swap the velcro out with.
