20" Wheels tire size
Hi,
what is the recommended tire size on "wide" 20" wheels von the F15? I have a set of new unused Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/35 ZR 20 and 295/30 ZR 20 that came with my M6 (which I sold). Is there a reasonable way to use them on a F15 with 20" tires? Tom |

They might fit but even if they did, the load rating would be designed for a smaller vehicle. The ride would be incredibly rough due to the much smaller sidewalls.
It's also going to throw off your speedo. |

@TomiOmni , the size is undersized for the X5 both on the width and thickness. Also, the load rating won't be able to handle the car's weight.

Agreed on the above. Standard sizing is 275/40/20 (front) and 315/35/20 (rear).

I have the same question on proper tire size.
Have a set of wheels that are 20 x 9 front and 20 x 10 rears Wanting to go with a 270/45/20 as I've heard other on here do the same. Can I put the same size tires on front and back. If not, what size should I adjust for on the rears to keep the diameter of the wheel the same? |
