Front right brake making grinding sound

Upon pressing the brakes it sounds like a grinding sound only from the front right. It sounds like brakes when you haven't driven a car in a while. What could it be? A pebble maybe? Cold weather? Rotors?

Rear brakes were just done and idrive says front pads don't need to be changed for 3100 miles.

Can you visually check calipers for how much pad thickness is left? Front right caliper has no sensor wire (sensor is only on the left side), so there's a small possibility pad is worn out and it's time for replacement.
If pad is still lots of material left - then it's most probably some dirt/pebble stuck in there.

I have around 3100 miles before my brakes need serviced as well. No grinding, but I've noticed my brakes squeal for a brief period upon starting the car. Is this normal? I really only here it when I'm leaving my parking garage at work but it is annoying.

You were right. Pads completely worn out and sensor didn't catch it bc it's on the left side. Replaced pads, rotors, sensors this morning.

Where did you order replacements from and at what cost if you don't mind me asking?
