Love the Space Gray! Car look incredible. Mine is scheduled for week 4. Does anyone know what week 4 is considered in BMW production terms? Trying to figure out when I can expect to get the car. I was pushed out 6 weeks due to shortages.

Mine was slated for a week 49 build and is now revised to week 6 :/. Hoping they are just being conservative.

I think BMW across the board uses the Europe/ISO standard week calendar. Week 4 is Jan 20 - 26 by that convention.

Thanks! I was impressed when I saw it in person. Pictures don't do justice. What's your color combo?

There are almost no pictures of Space Gray, and you've also got the interior I've ordered (albeit with different wood)....

Thanks!
Here's a series of shots...inside and out. I didn't get to take it with my DSLR (wasn't at home when I took these), but should suffice.

Zipforia, so shiny, just waxed? Perforated seats and dashboard contrast stitching are elegant. On some, I do not like the contrast stitch on seats, too many lines, however on the dash it just flows with the lines.

Yup! Baby's got a new coat!

Yeah...the contrast on the stitching goes well with the leather.

Congrats! Ventilated seats, very nice. Mine (far more modest car) M Sport space gray should be here by the end of the month. I hope I retire from this forum, the wait for the car is getting to me and is quite exhausting.

Doesn't matter the option, F15 family is F15 family. You'll love the color and the aggressive look of the M-Sport even more in person.

I know what you mean about the wait. Pretty much did me in towards the end. But don't retire! Everyone's input is what makes something like this great!

When it arrives, LOTS of pictures!

Nice looking SAV!!!
Did you get roof rails in Satin Aluminum on purpose or it just came like that?
I thought M Sport support to have black roof rails.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks a lot.

Space Grey Metallic
Ivory Nappa Leather Package
Fineline Oakwood Trim
M-Sport
20" wheels (469M)
Cold Weather Package
Driver Assistance Package
Driver Assistance Plus
Dynamic Handling Package
Lighting Package
Luxury Seating Package
Premium Package
Side Window Shades
Adaptive M Suspension
Bang & Olufsen Sound System

I took these photos at the dealership, so it's nowhere as nice as chrisny's snowy back drop or fedmas's brookside photoshoot. If there's anything you want me to take a photo of to see in detail, let me know. Enjoy!

When you say "Active," Do you mean, "Does the side bolsters react and support when you make a turn?" No. Or, if you mean, "Does it raise the bottom cushion up and down from side to side for spine exercise in long drives?" No.

The BMW website describes this package as "Active and Ventilated." The term "Active" is applied to the Ventilated Seats (and quite loosely, I might add).

This is what the Owner's Manual says:

"Active seat ventilation, front

The seat cushion and backrest surfaces are cooled by means of integrated fans.
The ventilation cools the seat, e. g., if the vehicle interior is overheated or for continuous cooling at high temperatures."

Now, I'm not sure if this is performed automatically or manually. I would suspect it would be automatic for it to be "Active." I haven't tested this feature since we're in Winter season (granted I am in So. California) and hasn't gotten hot enough yet. Also, the Owner's Manual goes on to say:

"After a short time, the system automatically moves down one level in order to prevent excessive cooling."

From what I've read by other BMW owners' that has/had this feature, for it to be effective in really cooling you, the A/C should be on with with a dedicated airflow to the footwell (either footwell only or combination of footwell and something else) for the seat fans to pick up the cooled air. If not, the fan is just pushing regular cabin air. In saying this, I don't know just how someone can be "excessively cooled". But, it is a feature BMW claims and tout and can claim to be "Active."
