Yeah the latest pic is in the dark garage with my Note 4. It's a solid picture but lighting was poor. I'll have professional photos once it is done to truly capture it. In person, it looks amazing. I really fell in love with the color. The wrap feels like OEM paint. My pleasure .

wood is good. @opasha, your father is a wise man my friend...
And thanks for the sneak peek pics - I have to echo the sentiments here: it looks really classy, not after market at all! Well done! |

Thanks @cSurf. It definitely adds an aggressive yet elegant look, which I'm happy with.

The one unfortunate part is this. His professional photographer won't be able to come until this coming weekend. I know the community has been waiting. Should I wait till he can take the photos or should I take some myself? I'd love to wait so that the car can really be captured the best way, but I'm not terrible with my Canon G16. What do you all think?

Winter Storm watch where I live! 8-10 inches of snow coming on Wednesday! I hope this won't delay things. Perfect timing, right?
On the bright side, at least I get to test my 22" Delinte tires in the snow . UPDATE: More delays. The companies promised the lights and the new 3k carbon fiber would be here by today, but nothing showed up. My friend and I are both very frustrated .

I am. I just hope the weather doesn't mess things up with the delivery, etc.

The whole exterior is done except the bumpers (the carbon fiber/resin has to be done first before they can be wrapped and there was a delay in the carbon fiber shipment - that's what I'm waiting on STILL), flares, and running boards. He wants to wrap everything together when the carbon fiber arrives. For now, here updated pics from tonight:

Wow. That's looking awesome! Can't wait to see the entire thing done. Do the door jams get wrapped as well so you essentially never see or notice the original color anywhere on the car?

Thanks, man . Yes, door jambs are already wrapped so there will be none of the Mineral White paint exposed.

Trust me, that is the plan. These are only "journal" pics as I get updates so that everyone can at least get some satisfaction, lol. They don't do the wrap justice at all. Only one of them was from my Note 4 (the fourth pic with the white door - thus how clear it is). The rest were from my friend's old S3 that he sent me each time I asked for updates. I'm going to find a good place with great lighting that really captures the wrap well and post a new thread of all the changes. After that, I will write up a DIY for changing steering wheels. Thanks for the positive comments, @CrockettHood. I'm sure many members are disappointed about the delay, lol. Sometimes, things are out of our hands, so just gotta be patient and hope for the best.

Wow....i don't typically like the mat finish, but I must admit that this is looking awesome. Really highlights the lines of the vehicle - I like it!
Not sure if you guys already went over this but what does the maintenance of this finish look like? Do you need to wash it with anything special? Wax? |
