Anyone took delivery for their X6?

According to my dealer that my "launch edition" X6 is on the train to the dealer. I've switched my nov production X6 to this one earlier this month. They all should be arriving about now. Just can't wait!

My was supposed be finished today so I hope it will be sent to the dealer next week. I keep calling for status every day now

I was told Nov build (no specific date) and Jan delivery (UK), which suits as work rules out Dec and it is booked with a detailer for a week in late Jan. I've had no updates from the dealer though, but I blindly assuming all is well! Looking forward to seeing your pictures, mine is metallic black and red leather M50d, what are you getting?
PS: I see they built 3,765 in Oct so in full swing at the factory.

Mine was theoretically complete on 11/13. The automated system says 'waiting to be released to the carrier'. After sitting like that for 1wk, I asked my CA about it and he says its in state 155, quality control. I confirmed this with a nice BMW lady on the phone. She said that it's being held at the factory and they don't know why.

We thought it would be here by thanksgiving, but alas, no. Yesterday, my CA finally gave me a new 535 MSport loaner. So much nicer than a 2005 Acura!

Imagine this being said really fast: Son: "Is this our new car please say this is our new car if its not our new car can it be our new car I like this car." Me: "Uh, no"

Probably the Dark Green X-line or the Red M-sport since they were showcased for the launch of the F16. That's just my guess .

Saw an M-sports model in Mineral white and Cognac interior at my dealer last weekend and it was stunning.
I didn't like the how rear tails look but Cognac interior was really nice. It made terra interior look so cheap!
And surprisingly, when I optioned X6 with similar spec to my X5, pricing came out only about $1,000 more! But X6 needs little more headroom in the back. My hair was literally rubbing against the headliner when I was sitting straight.

I liked the X6 but that was the deal killer for me.

We just got in our launch supply X6 the other day and it really looks good. Huge improvement over the previous gen.

I checked cars.com for my area last night and there are few dealerships already that has it and they posted real pics too. Even my dealership that I ordered from has one already but not mine??
My X6 is completed and waiting to be released to the carrier. How long it takes to do delivery to Chicago?

I totally agree about the roof rails on an X6, my order does not have them as it ruins the sweeping roof profile. However, for my current X5 they are essential although I feel for the X5 they have to be the low profile rails, unlike the ones with the gaps under them - just my $ worth.
