Has anyone recieved this offer???
I received this email from BMWUSA. Is this an additional discount direct from BMW and on top of whatever deal I make with the dealer like a UDE discount???

I believe you can't use both. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=803050 This sounds like dealer specific event, just like the events some dealers did.

Yes, I believe it is exactly like the UDE.. As in an additional discount on your negotiated price, comes from BMW NA, not from your dealer.
The dealers just host the events but usually they all have it, not always at the same time but in the case of the drive to end hunger, it was all dealers with no invitation nor appointments needed. The credit acts like cash, except you do pay a tax on it. |

Same thing here. I noticed on my bill of sale there is a "rebate" of 1000. Not sure if this is that rebate - they indicated in was a BMW incentive.

if you did the event before your order went in, doesn't matter when you get the email with your code, you just need the code by the time you take delivery (and to take delivery before it expires). But, I've also done a drive event and used the credit AFTER my order was placed, despite the rules saying it doesn't apply to existing orders. that part I don't think they're very strict about. I mean, you could just cancel your order and put in a new one… so what's the point.

How can I get this email sent to me? There weren't any drive events scheduled once I decided I was in the market for a X5. Anyone know how I can register my email to receive this?
