Selling My 2014 X5 Need Suggestions on Starting Price.

Hey Guys,

Im selling my Base line 2014 X5. I still have a M Sport '14 X5 that I'm keeping. Decided to Go Something smaller and Sportier. Picking up a '15 Macan Turbo in a few weeks . Im assuming that if i were to trade in i would be right around $50K. I know i can do a lot better selling it on my own. Since a X5 has so many different options its hard for me to find comps on auto trader, ebay, Cars.com, etc.

Here are the specs:
MSRP: $62,325.00
1700 Miles
Purchased: 01/2014

MODS:
Full Clear Bra to front end of car (Full Hood, Full Fender, Bumper, Door Cups and Door Edges, Pillars)
Ceramic Tint to Front two Windows

Mineral White Exterior
Black Interior
Poplar Wood Trim
Panoramic Roof
Drivers Assistance Package
*Rear View Camera
*Heads Up Display
Drivers Assistance Plus
*Active Blind Spot Detection
*Active Driving Assistant
*Surround View
Lighting Package
*Adaptive Full LED Lights
*Automatic High Beams
Premium Pack
*Comfort Access Keyless Entry
*Soft Close Automatic Doors
*Satellite Radio With one Year Subscription
Space Saver Spare Tire

Let me get this straight, you have THREE F15 X5's? Plus a Rover and you're getting another one soon? I'm scratching my head here.

That's probably because it takes so long to get a Rover these days.

I had mine for 10 years..it was an absolutely amazing SUV. It did everything I wanted and never gave me issues. The only downside was of course the nav/infotainment systems. They SUCK!

I can..they're great SUVs but it was time for something different for me which is why I switched to the X5. No regrets with mine. I loved it.

Im having some issues with mine. Parking sensors beep randomly, Car will not detect key sometimes, Headliner coming apart etc. Honestly the only appeal for the car was the resale value. The exterior with the 22" wheels sure looks great.

MSRP- you'll find a buyer as long as you're <5000 miles.

That maybe possible if my car is a XDrive. I got a offer today for $2K under sticker. Should I take it?

I would, you only lost the tax, drove it for a few months. I believe in 2 months the 2015's start production. Even better if you got a fair discount on purchase.

Yep, I'd take it. Small variance of loss there. Heavy depreciation in year 1 and 2...I'd take that deal all day long if I was in your shoes. Given the stable of cars, I don't think a small loss like that will be felt.
