Sorry, was just kidding. See a lot of people on here wanting to do the video in motion thing.

I'm sure there is a way to code it while parked though. That used to be standard while in park right?

This is a bit older thread, but I'm going to hop on board since it sort of touches on a question I had.

Does anyone know if it's possible to play video from an iPhone through standard USB or even bluetooth streaming without the 6NS option (Enhanced USB and Bluetooth plus Smartphone Integration) and the snap-in adapter? The function listing for 6NH vs 6NS doesn't mention video. There's not a lot of information out there and what I've found is contradictory. Some info says it's not possible; others say it's possible with the adapter; others say it's possible with just some coding.

Here's a lengthy thread about hacking the iDrive screen with composite input modifications: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=360147

Thanks. I got an answer from BMW (was surprised they would bother to answer) that video would not work on F15 even with a media adapter for the iphone 4/4s and that video can be played via usb. Their answer of course does not cover aftermarket soultions.

No problem at all . Yeah, it seems coding doesn't really help any sort of phone video playback. Only thing doable is usb video or if you have a cable that can somehow full the F15 into thinking it's using a usb when connected to your phone.
