Both are good looking, one just looks soft while the other looks like a proper off-road SAV even though it really can't...

Totally agree. The rear looks like a goofy smile. Hopefully it will evolve in my mind with time to a menacing grin!

The rear reminds me of a minivan. I like the more angular e70 rear end. Otherwise I think the f15 looks good though

E70 has the nicer butt. It does not try too hard to look sporty in contrast to the over-aggressive F15.

The rear takes some getting use to but the E70 is starting to show its age especially since it wasn't that much of a change from the first gen X5.

I'm sure once we start seeing these in the flesh it will be one of the best selling X5's of all time.

+1 on the front of F15 being nice BUT pictures doesn't do justice for the E70. In person, i like the Sport version of e70 and not so much on the M-sport. The F15 on the other hand, pictures make the car look much bigger and less sporty in the rear. thus far, i'm not feeling it at all but i'll wait till i see it in person.

I just purchased a 2013 White F70 with M/Package... I do like the F15 I guess when my lease is up in 2017 F15 will be bug free I may think about it... And your right about the Hyundai comment, I work for Hyundai here in NYC for many years. I think all lines are starting to look alike and aerodynamics are same, It's due to competition in gas prices!

That's funny...
The position of the fogs is the only thing I don't like about this version. I think it's a nice evolution of the outgoing car.

I'd drive it with pride!

Not happy with F15 M front view...

My least favorite part about the M version is the straight on front view -- really don't like the lines/shapes. I may get the non-M version it I can get all the other M items.

Iam replacing my E70 with an F15.

The more I see the 14 the more I think the 13 looks tired and dated.

Some say that pics don't do the new X5 justice. I had the opportunity to see several yesterday at the dealership. They had a black M-Sport (what I would order) available. All I can say is that is one homely SUV.

I was hoping it would grow on me over time but I just find it repulsive (same as new MB ML & Q5). The wheels are too small, the back is too big and the front is too pointy. The profile is another story... Its too bad. I've had 2 E70s and would have just gotten the new one. Still love BMW but may have to get a 5 or 6 series next... Or keep my current X.
