I am looking to find the part numbers for the left and right drilling templates for the M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Tail Flaps (I've also seen BMW call these links, winglets, rear side splitters). I purchased the flaps used so the drilling templates were not included...

For reference here are the actual rear tail flap part numbers...

BMW M Performance Rear Side Splitter - Driver Side - 51192334715
BMW M Performance Rear Side Splitter - Passenger Side - 51192348140

Seen as BB below...

Bump! Still need help.

I know someone has to be savvy enough to figure this out! Time to flex.

I believe those template is one time use.
Unless someone is buying a new set and make a copy for you, it is impossible to get.

Are you positive these have their own part number?
For example, front lip has a BMW part number, but the accompanying brackets do not.

Thanks Ben. That's what I suspected.

I am dreading the idea of this install. Dealer won't do it without the drilling template.

Every single other hardware piece on that diagram has a part number actually.

Dealer should be able to obtain a copy from HQ.

My local dealer is useless unfortunately.

I'll try another one, then corporate.

Thanks again!

Are you using your local dealership's parts department or the service department? I ask because the parts department should have access to BMWs ASAP (aftersales assistance portal). The ASAP system is where you get instructions and info for things of this nature. For example, when I ordered BMW mud flaps for my e53 X5 4.4 ... they did not come with instructions...so the parts dept clerk pulled up the info in BMWs ASAP and printed them out for me.

If you have a noob sales clerk and they look at you funny if you inquire about BMW ASAP...have them ask the parts department manager...hopefully then can be helpful in getting the information for you.

Good luck.

Thanks man, appreciate the advice. Tried my best with my local dealer, South Shore BMW. They are truly painful to deal with...

Spent about an hour with the parts and service managers at BMW of Norwood and they agreed to install the rear splitters without the drilling templates...came out awesome.
