Do we have a DIY on the Oil Filter Gasket Replacement?
At 90k I think I've developed a slight weeping in the area - thinking about doing the job myself. Any tips or pointers are greatly appreciated.

I replaced it on my e90 2006 lol and now it's like dejavu 13 years later lol.
I swear to God, this is my last BMW. I'm just fed up with them not been able to sort out same gasket issue for 13 damn years. Within this timeframe Tesla was able to be born, develop and become world famous with 5 models selling like hot cakes worldwide with autopilot etc. The world is heading towards EV. And damn BMW can't even sort a rubber gasket so it won't leak on owners. I'm sorry for this rant. Came back today from dealership and got major bad news for me, but I'll post it in separate thread. I only found this video for n55 (same engine) but on F30 car. Layout is a bit different, but the rest is same: |

Just search for N55 gasket DIY, it will basically be the same.
