If you are talking about the armrests on the doors, that's a common issue. No solution except not leaning onto them.

Have it on my driver door armrest, driving me mad. I don't accept that there is no solution, will make the dealer change the whole door card if necessary.

Yes. Can't seem to take any elbow pressure. Trying to find a solution. I think BMW was being to cute with this item. Lid should have been one piece.

I put a slight amount of ptfe dry lube like this:

https://wd40.com.au/specialist/anti-...tfe-lubricant/

under the armrest. I did this without taking the armrest off. You can slide a thin piece of metal or plastic under the rim of the armrest (I used a feeler gauge). Spread a slight amount (Don’t use too much as it will drip onto the door surface) on the feeler gauge and slide it under. I did this three or four times over a week and it fixed it.

Make sure you wipe it off any surfaces (leather) as it will make it a little shiny. I believe ptfe is the recommended way to stop plastic on plastic squeaks. Also, avoid getting it on any electronics.

It also worked for my trunk squeak.

Hope this helps. I can't find the first video to repost, but my center armrest squeaking was terrible. I've now had the car almost 3 years and it's still gone.
