I currently have a 2014 x5 50i with the F85 bumper installed. I bought the car with it installed and let me tell you, it was a complete hack job. I am in the process of removing it and seeing what is all needed to make it as close to oem as possible. For starters, the belly pan is missing and both lower left and right splash shields were cut and zip tied to fit, GHETTO. I will be making a list of oem parts that will need ordered and will update later. Anyone else have any insight?

Actually, the person who sold me his MSport bumpers to move to M bumper spent $1000s to do it the right way.

There was also one gentleman selling his MSport w/M bumper.
A lot of people would crave on this, but you need all the accompanying parts w/all the electronics inside.

To convert your x5 (f15) from non M Sport to M Sport exterior here’s full list of parts you’ll need.

Front bumper part number will depend on your 4 current car options such as: Headlight cleaning system (washers), LED fog lights, Surround view (front camera in bumper), Park Assistant (sensors)
1. So here’s a table for all possible front bumper option combinations (4 rows are: Headlight washers, LED fog lights, Surround view camera, Park Assistant):
51118062459 y n n n
51118062474 n y n n
51118058510 n n n n
51118062480 n n y y
51118062484 y n n y
51118062488 y n y y
51118062496 y n y n
51118062464 n n y n

Other parts for M Sport front bumper are air ducts – they are plastic box like rigid ducts that help direct air flow and also serve as rigid support behind bumper cover itself:
1. cooling air duct (central main one) 51648055208
2. air duct left 51118056305 and right 51118056306
3. oil cooler (for equipped cars only), mounted for right side only 51748055212
4. brake air duct, left 51748055209 and right 51748055210
All fasteners and clips are reusable from your current non M Sport bumper, as well as tow hook cover plate (small painted cover in bumper – you can just reuse it) and washer spray nozzle cover plates (if your car is equipped) are reusable.

Trim for front M Sport bumper:
1. Central mesh grill, upper 51118054013 (for all cars)
2. Central mesh grill, lower 51118054012 (for cars without Active cruise control and without Driving Assistant Plus) or Central mesh grill, lower 51118056225 (for cars with either ACC or DAP)
3. Side grill left, open mesh 51118064633 (or alternative closed mesh 51118064635) and Side grill right, open mesh 51118064634 (or alternative closed mesh 51118064636)

Side skirts for M Sport:
1. Left 51778058507 and Right 51778058508
2. Support for side skirt Left 51778054035 and Right 51778054036
3. Fender flairs (if needed for 20/21 inch rims): front 51777378581 and 51777378582, rears 51777378583 and 51777378584 and blind rivets 07142151750

Rear bumper for M Sport:
1. Rear bumper primed: 51128058060
2. Corner mount for bumper, left 51128054019 and right 51128054020
3. Red reflector for M Sport rear bumper, left 63147847591 and right 63147847592
*Note: Parking Ultrasound Sensors (for equipped cars) are reusable for both front and rear bumpers, except that wire socket for some (not all) sensors have 2 different types – they only slightly differ in shape, one is L-shaped and other is I shaped. They attach to inside of bumper and it’s just matter of matching to get proper attachment. I couldn’t find exact info on that, so you will need to check that after removing bumpers if all your sensor sockets match. Worst case scenario some slight cutting/hot glue fabrication can fix the problem or if you must have everything like from factory - try to find proper part # and order needed ultrasound sensors (they might be black (corner ones on front bumper) or color matched (all the rest of sensors on both bumpers).

Exhaust tips for M Sport rear bumper:
1. Either you need to buy complete rear muffler for M Sport with exhaust tips 18307645677 (if you have 50i) or 18308648381 (if you have 35i) or alternately you can just try to buy aftermarket M Sport exhaust tips only (and weld them instead of your non m sport tips)
2. Clumping bracket/bush 18307560780

I think he needs directions from MSport to M, not from XLine to MSport!
