Water Coming in Car

Just went to get something out of my car, when I noticed a puddle of water on my passenger side weather tech mat, then noticed a small water spot on the seat. Checked to make sure all windows were closed and also the sunroof, found a wet spot right on top of the window visor. Has this happened to anyone here?

It is likely a clogged drain by the sunroof; at least, that is the usual culprit.

I actually looked a little further into it and noticed it may be my windshield? Satellite replaced my windshield about 3 months back, didn't have a problem since but now that I see the leak I noticed that there isn't a full seal around the passenger side of the frame. I attached a pic but it's kind of hard to see but you can see an orange wire of some sort so it's obviously not sealezd, could this be it?

Sunroof drain is clogged. I cleaned mine a couple of months ago and the symptoms were exactly as you described.

Did you do it yourself or have the dealership/mechanic do it?

I did it myself. I bought a small electric pump with hose small enough to fit in the drain. Worked like magic. My SA wanted $250 for that job

Had the same problem, rectified by dealer under warranty. Had the car for 4 full days (I had a loaner). They replaced all sound deadening under the carpets as well as clearing out the drains.

All good now except for a knocking sound from the roof when it's cold. I can stop the sound by breaking the cabin seal (open any window or the roof) but of course I can never demonstrate it for the dealer. Repair was done 2 years ago now and car out of warranty

Damn that's pretty annoying and strange, hopefully all the mechanic does is clear the drain and I don't get that knocking sound, fortunately my carpet is fine due to the weather techs
