Yes, correct.

This one has minimal packages/options, so no backup camera. There's tons of cool options for these cars, I'd recommend reviewing what was offered, if that stuff is important to you, and make sure you're not missing out on something you might want. Like a backup camera

Why aren't more people considering the Cayenne? A gently used model in S trim packs some serious punch for not a whole lot more than a loaded F15?

Then there's the Porsche dynamics and Porsche reliability?

Now that I asked that question I'm slapping myself for not checking it out. BUT, I love my F15.

You mean "rear" climate control? I have rear climate and AC is too strong, as i said in my previous post - I have to resort to lowering it to lowest setting to not freeze. That's in Arizona with 106F right now. It's one of the strongest AC systems I had. And I had over dozen of cars in my 22 years of driving, including Dodge, Ford, Nissan, other BMW models (e90), Chevrolet and Honda

Note: when I say strongest AC - I mean its ability to freeze you out in cabin. That being said I usually point vents at my face and hands, so maybe that's why it's freezing cold always. I can imagine if someone blows it away - it may feel different

We must have totally different cars. Lol. I'm in a AZ too. The regional engineer came out to test my AC with the shop foreman and they gave the typical "functioning as designed". Of course, they then said that they were drenched in sweat while in the car doing to test. Go figure.

What I can do in near future is to take a video of my AC functioning as usual and measure temp from the vents at 5min, 10 min, 15 min intervals from start on hot day - to see what temps we have blowing out of vents. I'm 100% sure it's within parameters. Which leads me to the question: do you think it's air volume that is pumped out of vents is too low OR you think air from vents is not cold enough?

If air coming from vents is not cold enough - that's easily measurable right? That means something is missing - either Freon reagent in the AC system or evaporator is not working as it should or something along these lines.

If it's low air volume on highest blower setting - then that's also easy to check - just using common sense and putting a palm against air vents - you should feel immediately if it's blowing strong or not.

I honestly can't think why someone should be drenched in the car with AC running unless there's something wrong with the car - I mean there's no other options

That's interesting. I thought X7 will not be revealed until next February and we wouldn't see it until mid 2018 in dealers.

I had been arguing my point with BMW NA since June. I've now washed my hands of the issue.

Who knows what will come of it in the future.

OP, I test drove both 35d and 35i. I like both engines, and I was leaning towards the 35d, but read some issues with the 35d. Ended up with the 35i. Thus far, 1 year later and 5k miles no issues, but then again what kind of issue would anyone expect at 5k miles.

Still don't know when exactly it will be revealed, but looks like some dealers have already given the opportunity to test drive. My dealer told me it will be out early 2018.

I've been driving my father's 40e all week and have to say that it seems to pull a lot better than my 35i. If I were to purchase another F15, I'd definitely try to find a 40e this time around.

Yes! 3 years of ownership and still take a quick glance at it as I walk away after parking it.

Great question. My boss just got one for his wife and he swears it's the best SUV ever. Then, my neighbor across the street got one a few months ago. I just can't be "that guy" keeping up with the neighbors even though that would have nothing to do with hit.

Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk. 707bhp.

Guarantee that neither your boss nor neighbor will have one.

Problem solved.

I've only had mine a little over a month. comfort mode and eco mode are not for me...no power at all, it's terrible....now go into sport or sport+ and that's where you have to have it to really enjoy driving if you're a car guy.

also I hate the AC.....its too fucking cold! I always have to turn it off would I buy another one? after I drive this one into the ground(if it doesn't cause too many issues) then, absolutely.

time will tell, but this is my 4th BMW in as many years (41st car in 18 years of driving) and I just keep on coming back...mine is a 15 M-sport with everything btw...i wouldn't have it any other way. in fact I searched everywhere for the BSM with ivory interior with an Msport and it was the only one in Canada for sale at the time. I drove 3.5 hours to get it.

I had an SRT for 3 weeks.

Traded it for the X5 50i.

So happy. No disrespect to the SRT, but there is no real comparison. The only category where it has any competitive standing is 0-60. And that's negligible.

Every other way. No contest.

Personally, I tend to skip through vehicles. It's a guilty pleasure, and a stupidly moronic habit.

The X5 50i is the only car in years to make me think "what would be the point in getting anything else".

I recently thought about the X5M, but I ended up with, "why bother". A lot of money difference, but not nearly worth it.
