Installing TMAP Connectors for JB4 Tune

I'm having a hell of a time trying to access and install the harness connectors for the TMAP connections on the outsides of each intercooler. The space between them and the engine bay frame is just too tight. Recommendations on either what to remove or how to more easily undo these connectors and plug in the JB4 pieces? I've only got like an inch or so on both the driver and passenger side... Slightly more here pictured on passenger but still isn't much!
