Obtaining original window sticker?
I purchased my (used) X5 few months ago. The original/first owner somehow lost his/her original BMW window sticker.
Is there a way to obtain the original sticker? I am not looking for a VIN decoder. I know for Audi's, the dealer can pull the original window sticker (as a pdf file) regardless of where it was sold. TIA! |

Probably why I keep all of mine... for keepsake souvenir.
I still have all of my 2007 BMW 525i, 2010 535i, 2013 X5 35i, and 2015 X5 35i

I've kept a few myself over the years...but only the ones I thought were special. And then I dig through the safe and come across ones I thought were special, but now they're not, so then I toss 'em. I only have so much space in my 40 gun vault, and I like guns more than papers.

I like to keep it in with my owners manual. Just additional documentation of the car for archive purposes.
Also, if I want to sell it privately... I might want to show it to the possible buyer. |

This - even if your vehicle isn't "well optioned" there are always some extras and you can use that as speaking points to the value when selling. Plus there is a little bit of value added when people keep the sticker and all service records (IMO)

I called my dealer and he emailed my a PDF with what the car is optioned, doesn't look pretty like that but i have a complete listing with what the car came with; he didn't charge me anything and I did not even bought the car from there!.
This how it looks, did your dealer refused to print you one? |

There is a better version the Service Department can print out.
Organized and laid out in a more legible manner.

As stated by others, the SA said it cannot be done. He also referred me to Monroney. |

It can be done. If he is too lazy or does not know how just go over to the service department.
