F15 on All Terrains

I just bought a "new to me" 2018 X5 35d and am getting it ready for its first winter since it came from Miami, FL. I have a set of freshly powdercoated black 18" winter wheels that currently have 6 year old Nokian Hakka's SUVs R2's in 255/55-18 that I know will easily fit the F15. What I am looking at doing is replacing them with a set of the newer Nokian Hakka's SUV R3's but move to a larger more aggressive size of 265/65-18 which converts to a 31.6 x 10.4 R 18.

I ran this on the "Will they Fit" calculator using the front size currently installed which is 275/40-20 and the rears are 315's. Looks like the width won't be a problem but they will be 36.85mm or 1.45in. taller overall.
Looking at how much room is in there, I feel like there will be room since the actual gain from the center of hub is actually half that so 18.42mm or 0.73in.

The price difference is only $5 more but I think these will fill out the wheel wells much better and not look crazy narrow. These will still do amazing on Ice and Snow even with the additional 10mm width.

So, what do you all think? First, has anyone had any experience with this size? In my opinion, I know the width will work....I just need to know if anyone has run a 31.5in or 32.0in tall tire without issues. Thanks!!!

Did you end up running them? Looks like people have used ~30.5" diameter but not sure about larger

Decided to make a move on some winter wheels/tires. 265/60/18 is the max for these SUV’s. I went with Toyo AT3’s and some E70 wheels. They required a 30mm spacer on OEM 18’s to clear the spindle/control arm mount up front. Here’s a pic

How are you liking this set up? I was thinking 255/60/19 but if I can do 18s, even better! I plan on a square setup and was thinking spacers either way just to clear the mounts.

So I’ve switch my wheels to Method 706’s with 265/60/18. Squared setup

18x9 ET32 (bore the hubs to 74.1mm)

No spacer in the front (slight rubbing in reverse). I added 30mm wheel spacers in the rear to sit closer to the M-Sport fenders
