16 X5 50i front strut blown need advice, back wheel cracked also need advice.

I have a 2016 BMW X5 50i with the third row. I came home the other day and found a pool of oil on the ground under my front tire. I'm assuming my strut is blown.

My question how do I figure out what struts to buy? I see price ranges from 150-1000 for the struts.


I was told they have airbags. If I want a small drop is that possible with bags? It seems spring are relatively inexpensive.

My second question is this. I have a crack in my back wheel 469. I can't seem to find one for under $500 should I slap on aftermarket and sell my originals? Or is that not recommended?

I’d confirm what the leak is before buying anything. Could be brake fluid or something else.

You can lower a car that has rear airbags. Just need front springs and lowering links for the rear.

Front doesn't have air suspension, to confirm fitment check on realoem.com to see what p/n you need.Looks like you have standard struts, I think these are your options:

But check it is actually a strut, not something else.
For the rim, you can try to check with local rim and tire shop to see if they can fix the crack otherwise set notification at few different sites which are selling rims like this one:
