Is there a tool that I could use to help diagnose this issue? Would BMW Rheingold ISTA help with this?

If so can someone link me to it?

Thanks.

However, during the process I noticed that the CAFD selection did not show my Istep version.

I choose the latest version available 503, and coded that. However, the the Trailer Hitch warning message started flashing afterwards.

1) Do I need different files to fix this issue?
2) If so can someone link me the latest files I need to do this?
3) Could this be a VO coding issue? Not sure which ECU's need to be VO coded, as it seems that every other post on the question has users flashing ECU names that I do not have. For example my unit is labeled AAG not AHM.

Thanks for your help!!!

apple car play

Hi everyone. I'm going to be picking up a 2018 X5 M next week, and I wanted to know if apple car play can be coded if it wasn't added from the factory?

Also can I have the latest links for the e-sys software? Do the cheat sheets in the app allow for led anti dazzle coding?

Not easily. It can be coded, but you first need a 143 CarPlay FSC Code issued for your VIN Imported and Activated in NBT2 Head Unit, and you cannot buy one form BMW AG.

Carplay can be provisioned through ConnectedDrive store for $300. I recommend checking out at dealership as well as bad reviews before committing to purchase.

Fxx-/Ixx-/Gxx-series Coding: (No Request) Latest Software Links. Yes, the ones labeled for F15 apply.

Good morning. I'm having an issue with the ENET cable I built.

Car is MY18 X5 Xdrive35i.

I'm running a macbook pro with win10 through bootcamp.

I have a usb-c to ethernet adapter that is confirmed working. Tested the adapter with my home ethernet connection.

I have my ENET cable built to spec. All wires checked for continuity from the rj45 to obdII connector. Everything checks out there. resistor is 510 ohm 1/4 watt. Measures just around 506 ohm.

When I connect the cable to my car, then connect to ethernet adapter, then connect to laptop, I can't get a connection.

The lights on the adapter flash every 5-7 seconds. I can see on the network screen when the light flash the networks flashes like it's trying to connect. It seems to me the cable is not sending a constant connected signal. This is switching the ethernet port on and off.

Any idea what could cause this? I ordered a cable from an online vendor just to see if it's the cable but I don't know if that will fix it. I'd like to get my cable working in the mean time.

Thanks for your help!

Where do cheat codes live in Launcher?

After downloading and saving as XML, in what folder do Almaretto's xml cheat codes need to placed into to work in Launcher Premium?

C:\Program Files (x86)\TokenMaster\E-Sys Launcher Premium\FDLCodes

Make sure to open in IE to check you downloaded correctly.

If you want to use E-Sys, then you must use ENET Cable.

Bluetooth (eg, ELM) will not work, but wireless ENET would.

Has anyone figured out how to change the angle at which the steering wheel will shut off the turn signal? Mine seems very sensitive. I would like to allow for more wheel turn before the signal turns off.

Hello fellows. My car has to go in for its first service and I am presuming they will wipe out all the cool coding mods you have all helped me with. Please could I get the latest E-Sys version?

They will not program always. That only occurs if fault is documented.

PSdZ is what you would need if updated.

Thanks to some guys from a Russian BMW forum, i managed to find and code the steering wheel easy access disabling. If anyone is interested, you can use the following settings:
These 2 options must be set to "Aktiv":
BDC Body -- V_MAX_AKTIVER_EINSTIEG_AKTIV
BDC Body -- V_MAX_DEAKTIVIER_EINSTIEG_AKTIV
Also, you should check that the following two settings are set to: wert_01 = 00 00 (mine were already set):
BDC Body -- V_MAX_AKTIVIERUNG_EINSTIEG
BDC Body -- V_MAX_DEAKTIVIER_EINSTIEG
This thing was driving me mad, i am really pleased to have finally disabled it.

Turning my 2015 F15 in today. What is the quickest way to code the car back to the factory settings. I have the MPPK installed, so I don't want to wipe that out.

Thanks in advance.

The new wheels will be a 2018 F15 Msport in Carbon Black with Mocha. I could not wait for the G05 (sigh) or wait to try the X3 M40i (as a stop gap until I could move back up to the G05).

E-Sys - VO Coding Guide.pdf:
https://mega.nz/#!EgIFAZKb!H12P6g_2p...j4BT5UCMxck1bw

In short, Load / Activate original FA, Right-Click ECU, select Code.

Hey Shawn,

Do I read the FA (assuming the one I have modified), after the Activate, or go straight to the ECU step.
