all season staggered 20"
I am contemplating continental design for a setup on my 14 msport. Someone suggested I check our Nitto Motiva. is anyone familiar with these or have another suggestion?

That's what I'm swapping to around Thanksgiving, I'm going to take off the stock tires and keep them off until it's time to turn the car in and just run the DWS's for the majority of the lease. The DWS's are about 1/2 the cost of the stock tires too, another nice feature.

I have used Conti DWS before and they are great tires.

Had the DWS on our 2012 M Sport and I've already got a set sitting in the garage for our 2015 that's on the way. Where I live in Arkansas, the DWS is a year around tire. Quiet, comfortable, excellent on sleet and snow covered roads. Drove up steep hill in our neighborhood that other 4WD couldn't make it up. That's with 6" of snow. I thought about the Nittos too. However, they're owned by Toyo. I had poor results with the Toyo proxes. That's why I went with the DWS and haven't regretted it yet.

http://www.1010tires.com/tires/revie...n+Flat#Reviews The Dunlop Sport Maxx GT is the other stock tire that I know of that comes on some of these. Both of these tires are very high performance setups. The P zero's look awesome, however... They are 2K a set and these reviews are very typical (my dealer actually said "plan for 3-4 sets of tires" for a 3 year 45K lease): "Car I bought new for my wife, tires on the car were Pirelli 195 55 16 run flat. My wife is retired and is a non-agressive driver, car had no alignment problems and I got 15,000 on these tires and that sucks." "The WINTER/SNOW TIRE version of the PZero RF performed extremely well on my All Wheel Drive Sedan, BUT WORE OUT IN UNDER 9,000 MILES! That is totally unacceptable for $2,000+ Tires (or ANY Tires for that matter). These high performance tires that never give even a clue as to the REALITY of their Tread wear are getting away with, well, whatever they like. NO set of tires should wear out this fast without MORE ADEQUATE DISCLOSURE!" These tires look like, from when I was a kid, a "shaved" tire. There's almost no tread on them at all. A tread gauge would likely suggest replacement the minute they were installed on the car. Last edited by Overtaxed; 07-31-2014 at 08:21 AM.. |

The Pirelli's come on the 19's. If you opted for the 20's you'll get the continental's

Great thread. I am thinking about getting the 20" setup but replace run flats with all season Conti DWS for about $1000. I will also get the spare option from factory..

I have the staggered 20's and was factory outfitted with the Dunlops. I'm installing Conti DWS's, this fall. Ran them on our RWD E Class year around, in Colorado, and they were excellent.
