Rear Cargo Area Liner

I'm looking at the WeatherTech cargo liner. Are there any other recommendations out there for the F15?

This is the one I have in my car and it's solid: http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462. It was $100.

Opasha, does it have cutouts for the tie downs or how do you deal with that?

It has areas where you cut for the tie downs, yes. I just didn't need to cut them out. because I don't use the hooks for anything....yet . It comes rolled up in a skinny tall box. So you have to lay it flat in your trunk. The best way is to roll it down against the corners and push them against the carpet sides so it maintains the form for some time. Mine took two days to sit perfectly after putting groceries and what not on the mat. It's really durable yet thin. I didn't want anything too bulky. It also has the BMW logo at the bottom in silver - line this bottom area closest to the trunk lower door so it helps it stay flat.

I'm going to play some soccer tonight. I'll take a picture of it when I do so you guys can see how it looks.

Check the prices at http://getbmwparts.com/. I just ordered a BMW mat for my x5 and the price was better than weather tech.

I have the same one! I cut the holes for the hooks to use with cargo net. Did you look inside the left side of the trunk cargo area? Open it, I found cargo net in there.

Yeah, my net is tucked away safely to the side . I just haven't had the need for it yet. Thanks for the tip nonetheless, kanate. I know others will find it useful .

Edit: Soccer was cancelled, so I'll take a picture tomorrow during daylight so it's easier to see.

As promised, here are the pics for the BMW cargo liner from the link I shared in the above posts. Sorry for the delay, I was busy all day today .

Note, there are 3 grooves/lines on each side as you can see. The ring holder cutouts I assume are those 3 squares on each side. Sorry for the dirty liner. I forgot to clean it after I picked my brother up from the airport the other day. That's what his suitcases did to it, lol.

Anytime . It sure does; I have no worries with groceries or sweaty clothes after soccer/basketball anymore, lol.

Just a heads up that the cargo liner for the F15 is exactly the same for the older model. O moved the BMW cargo liner I had on my 2011 X5 to my new one and it fits perfect. I was ready to order a new one when I got the car but I am glad I tried the old one before.

Same here, pretty much satisfied with one minor note - wish they made some part of it w/o the ribbed pattern (i.e. in the center or by the sides).

Yeah, I was deciding between mine and yours. I thought your guys' was a little too thick, so I went with the thinner one. Both are solid, but because of the minor issue you pointed out, I went with the thinner one . No regrets thus far.

When I bought 51-47-2-347-734 fitted luggage comp, I did not know about the other one. If certain ridges are not needed, cut them out. Try a really sharp knife, but be VERY careful as the ridges are big and the rubber is fairly hard. It may be hard the cut it flush to the surface, so may not look too good.

I purchased the more expensive cargo liners BMW offers for sale and ended up returning it. The liner looks great but prevents me from fully opening the storage compartment. The one Opasha purchased for his truck makes it easier to access the storage space.
