Auto H
I understand what Auto H does, but after you come to a complete stop and Auto H is engaged and you take your foot off the brake, are the brake lights still on until you give it gas?

Good question. It took me a while to feel comfortable that the brake lights were on at the stop lights.

You can couple this with Auto Start/Stop and it surprisingly takes off quick enough from complete stop (Hold and Engine Off) the moment you touch the gas pedal. It took me a while to adjust my acceleration from a complete stop with auto-hold engaged, I was launching forward pretty quickly especially in Sport mode.

Its a fair question and I wondered about it at first as well (on our F25 X3). But at night at traffic lights I could see the reflection of the red brake lights either on the car behind or traffic signs - which disappeared when I put the foot on the accelerator and disengaged the auto hold.

Yep. They do remain illuminated.
Funny story. On VW and Audi cars, they did not. And a number of accidents happened, resulting in them pulling the feature on US cars. They left a big blank button in its place. You'd think tweaking the software would cost less. But no.
