2014 Motion Sensor Alarm

Has anybody installed a motion sensor alarm in a 2014 BMW X5

If you're in the US, there already are motion sensors in the car that arm when the vehicle is locked. Pressing the lock button again after locking disarms them, and the light on the mirror blinks to confirm.

On RoW cars, it's an option but I don't remember the option code.

The US version does have this. I have locked my sleeping daughter in the driveway before, only to have her move and set off the alarm whenI ran in the house for a quick bathroom run. I imagine this must be very annoying if you own a dog.

Yeah, it's been discussed for the dog reason alone. So, in the US, if we have a dog, we just tap the lock button again to turn off the motion sensor. Here's a good thread that talks about it in case this method fails: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=727666
