How many openings do you need? And the foglight placement is just wrong.
+1 on this.

fog lights are def out of place. The rear is still look ugly..like big floating a$$...no aggressive line like e70.

I think it must be seen in person to have a clear understanding of the design.
In pics doesn't look too good

surprised so much flak about fogs considering they're not really a lot different than on my E53 ... a little more to the center, but clearly a design feature in all the X5s

Why are you guys complaining about the foglights. They are on every x5 model.

Maybe if it was Black x5, it would look better than white......

Does anyone know if the diesel version released to the US/Canada will have the mSport pkg has an option or will it be only available on the 35/50i models?

The front is TOO BUSY, nostrils are huge and kinda out of place, fog lamps are out of their place and the plastic trim does not flow with the rest of the body which I find terrible for any car, not to mention BMW.
Fail. I love the previous model a lot now.

Coming from someone who owned a '12 X5 M Sport, I really dont care for the front or back end. The huge fake vents with plastic covers will look even worse after a year's worth of fade sets in. My '12 they were actually functional air ducts.

I dont think I should even bother commenting on the back end without risking beating a dead horse.

Interior looks fantastic though!

Also, am I the only one that is worried about that lower "kink" flowing down the side of the vehicle from the side air vent? I think it looks nice, but that will be an absolute PITA to pull out dents / dings from other vehicle doors being banged into it. It looks like that kink would take the first impact and suffer the most damage.

Looks better than in pictures, but not as nice as the E70 to me. The interior is definitely a major upgrade though.
