Wheel Opinions - Beyern Antler RF (Black) Wheels 22" x 11"

Hey all,

Hoping to get some opinions on these wheels before I pull the trigger.

The vehicle pictured with these wheels is identical to mine.

I have been having a tough time deciding on wheels for this X5.

The wheel itself I really like, but I am unsure if spoke wheels like this work with the X. I tend to lean towards thicker spoke styles for SUV's.

Thin spokes work very well imho. I like those rims, but I also like these ones from our forum member: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8&postcount=61

On the other hand thick spokes work good too. It's so hard to nail just right combo - often color of rims and car can make or brake final result too. I can't comment and advise since I know from experience that my taste is not ideal. i tend to like something for the first few days/weeks and then I start to slowly see that I was a bit wrong lol.

I thing they look good, however that car needs the extender fender flares to look the part.
Wheels stick out too much in those photos

^ yes fender flairs will make car look better (no matter the wheels). In your case you can probably get away with black (not painted) fender flairs. There's a thread about aftermarket flairs that are very good fitment (close to oem) for less price.

Agree! I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket wheels on the X5, but I like those Beyern's.

I have the same color (A90) F15 and the non-painted extended flares blend very well. At some point I considered going through the pain of sanding, priming and painting but was not worth the effort in my case.

Thanks for the comments! Going to look into the flares, but might add that later.

I am still chasing the look I used to have on my E53, I really miss those wheels.

22" Style 168 replicas. I thought they looked amazing.
