What gift did BMW send you

Hi All,

Was wondering what gift if any did you received with the purchase of your BMW X5?

With mw X3 I received that stupid BMW Ultimate Benefits Card, so I'm curious as to what I'll receive for the purchase of the X5.

I do not remember anything other than a keychain and a full tank of gas after the detailed cleaning.

I had $20,000 off sticker without the need for a trade in as the biggest "gift". And they threw in another $1000 in vouchers, free servicing/oil change for 3 years or 100,000km, and I also received free (crappy) windows tinting, interior leather care products, the usual car detailing and a BMW umbrella. Oh, and they coded the Auto Start/Stop to "last user setting" on my request. Can't complain - but the best gift was the fact that wifey actually, for the first time ever, agreed with this purchase!!

Why do "they charge for a quart of oil here and there?" Especially since oil changes are supposed to "free?"

Thanks

I'm talking about the occasional low oil refill. Not full oil changes. Sometimes BMW of Hawaii just hands me the quart, sometimes they go the extra mile and put it in for me and sometimes they charge me and then hand me the quart. Never an explanation of why the inconsistency. It's always been like that in the last 6 years of dealing with them

Not here in Singapore it doesn't. IMHO it's a blatant ripoff but we're suckers for the ultimate driving machine, so there.

I got the usb key and art rendering of my E70 on the anniversary dates, nothing at purchase. For the F15 since it was near the holidays, I got a little gift bag with a bmw umbrella and water flask. It was a pleasant surprise.

Most of Europe has 2 years warranty, that's it. I paid 10000 euros for 6 years of warranty + maintenance.
