My first F15!

Hey all! Just picked up my first F15, a 2015 35D last week. Higher milage but equipped with EVERYTHING I wanted and nothing i didnt. Beautifully maintained and feels like new. The 1100 mile road trip home was a delight! Worked out fantastically, as my 330 lease ended just this weekend

Congrats! Awesome spec! Nice to see another diesel M-sport specced out with DHP, NV, and the stop/start cruise control! Love these features! The night vision has saved me from hitting more than a few deer in my neighborhood.....

Tip: If you want to get black grills, buy the non-night vision black grills, then remove the outer rings and attach them to the existing center part that you still need for the night vision camera. It is a perfect fit. Just be careful not to break the tabs. Super easy, takes about 15 min to do...

Enjoy your beautiful new ride!

Thanks! Yea, I was blown away when i saw this listed and all the options. My basic requirements were DAP, CWP, and comfort seats. So to find this one with EVERYTHING.....had to have it! The B&O sounds amazing, haven't had much time to test out night vision yet, but its cool to have!

Bringing it in today to have work done on the particulate filter (yay for that extended service window!). Gotta then look into a delete & tune, and then carplay retrofit

Congratulation on the buy! Your the owner who offer more than asking price. Coby wheel rewrapped the steering wheel. Only thing missing is a 6WB cluster.

Yep that’s me I reallllly wanted this spec! Good to know on the wheel, didn’t go much into detail with the seller about it specifically. Maybe doing a cluster upgrade at some point. Need to do some bushing and control arm replacements. Then delete. Then ID6 retrofit. Then maybe cluster :$

Seems like it was well maintain. HPFP hasn't exploded yet so I would keep an eye out for that. From the Service record, he had issues with DPF sensor and driver rear air bag leaking. (Those hasn't been replaced just checked when it was in for service). Other then that it checks out pretty good. Paint is decent for that many miles as well.

Particulate filter is throwing errors so, need that deleted. Dealer is claiming I need control arm and bushings replaced but I don’t buy it. 2k miles since it was inspected and had an alignment, I don’t believe it all failed that fast. Going to a local independent shop for a second opinion.

Loving it so far. Got my list of things to do. Control arms I’ll be replacing in a couple weeks, buying those online at a fraction of the dealer cost. I also want to do a delete and tune soon. Eventually also an ID6 retrofit since I want CarPlay back lol.

Thanks I'm now constantly on the look out at any other ones i drive by to see if they are a D too. I'm loving the extra space, hauling ability, and features of the X5. Drives like a dream, totally different than my 3 (or X1s, or C or E classes before....). Over the next year or so I've got a list of mods and retrofits i want to do to make it even better
