Fender flare mystery..

Can anyone confirm for sure whether the rear fender flares on the M Sport ordered with the 20" wheel upgrade are any larger than the rear flares that come with the M Sport if you stick with the 19's?

Parts guy and business manager when I picked up my car indicated I would need new rear fender flares if I wanted to get the 20's now (since I didn't order with the car), said the system wouldn't allow him to select the 20's without them. I still don't think the flare is any bigger than what I already have. The rear flare with the 19's is larger than the front flare already.

Still trying to decide between using the 19's for winters and getting 20's in the spring, or just getting another set of 19's with winters and using the M sport 19's for summer...

Can anyone with the 20's on an M sport that has also seen one with the 19's confirm?

Worse case, anyone know what the rear flares would generally cost? I'm assuming it can't be too much..

Thanks in advance.

If nobody gets back to you any sooner, I'll let you know end of next week when I take delivery. I ordered 20s.

Sorry, I cannot answer you specific question. Below link post 14, is a pic of a 20" NON- MSport. Yes, hard to tell exactly from photos, but gives you hopefully something.

Thanks Barclona. Those pics were what made me pretty sure my flares with the m sport 19's are the same as those flares with the 20's.. Just hoping someone has seen both and can compare from seeing in person, or maybe someone has part numbers to confirm.

My dealer quoted $5000 to order and install (including valve stems for TPMS and extended OEM fender flares) the 20" rims with 11" rear and 10" fronts ... So bottom line anyone considering this the $995 factory option is by far the best value...

But the dealer will charge you over 3K for the 19" rims!

I saw the 19" and compared them to my 20" and they are the same. Just the wheels are different. Just to "confirm," I asked the CA and he said they were same as well. So there you have it.

Exactly what I thought, thanks. Confirms my suspicions that the guy I spoke to was clueless..
