Overall, i too was hesitant about the wheels since they are reps and i am all about OEM quality but after talking to dubseed and a few other members who ran these wheels from the previous gen X5M i was really reassured that the quality was reliable. These seem to be one of the more reputable replica wheels/brands. Being that our trucks are so heavy i was def concerned about the wheels being SUV rated, which they are. I am pleased thus far. no balancing issues, not flaws in paint or finish etc..

Kzang nice comparison shot, thanks for the cred ! As you mentioned in a previous post these wheels are wayyyyy more concave than the OEM 21"

have you hit potholes before? I have a mercedes W222 replica AMG blade for my Mercedes and it looks good, but i think one of the wheels got bent slightly when I hit pothole.

I have been running after market wheels with low profile tires for a very long time on many different cars.

From my experience, it would seem that any wheel wrapped with a low profile tire is in danger of being damaged on unforgiving roads.

Whether you're running aftermarket or OEM, it's only the actual tire that provides protection against road damage. So if your road conditions are less than favorable, just make a conscious effort to afford major potholes and bumps, or just reduce speed accordingly, the wheels should survive the environment.

well, looking at some pics of a set of 599 for sale, it appears they are cast based on the part numbers being raised.
perhaps just the barrels are roll forged, and not a fully forged wheel. a fully forged wheel starts out as a solid chunk of aluminum, and then fully machined to size and pattern. takes way more work to make versus a cast wheel.

perhaps but the 611m among others have engraved part number on the barrel instead of the back of the face indicating it may be a fully forged wheel.
