Just ordered a x5 whit nightvision and have a question.

can u order a performance grill and tak the Outer frame (chrome) and replace it whit the frame from performance grill (black)?

I'm not positive, but I'd be interested to know as well. Maybe some who has replaced their grill can comment. However, I don't think it's possible as my understating is that each side is one solid piece.

There is yet to be any grill/frame other than the stock one available for those of us with night vision.
I'm sure that someone with the appropriate tools and ability could easily produce a one-off piece.

Get a replacement one or your original painted gloss black. Easiest way.
I bought mine through iND via this forum. But I suppose you could have yours painted for about the same price considering postage and customs charges.

Why not just spray paint it black or PlastiDip?
